The Ashden Directory, who like us are interested in the role the arts are playing in changing attitudes to climate change, had  been invited to participate in a conference, Earth Matters on Stage in Oregon, but felt that to travel there would be wrong. Instead, they created an exchange of views via video, starting with this circle of questions, What can be asked? It included this exchange between actor/playwright Mojisola Adebayo and Dan Gretton of Platform, Adebayo asking the provocative question, "How far is art worth the damage?"

I'm not convinced Gretton's answer quite covers it, but the question chimes well with the post below, and art critic JJ Charlesworth's provocatively sharp response.
