This month the disscusion will be focused on a planned Oxford RSA Fellows’ open day to be held in Oxford on Saturday 25 March. RSA Chief Executive Matthew Taylor’s editorial in the latest RSA Journal (read it here) asks questions and sets challenges which we intend to answer with our actions. Represented around the hall will be 20 or more Fellow-led or invited projects, extant or planned, with the intention of recruiting support from a constant stream of drop-in visitors including Fellows like you! At this meeting we need to plan how to share the responsibilities for the event. Some ideas include a hackathon for start-up enterprises, invited and impromptu speakers, a competition, and how to gather and act on feedback. Join us to engage in the planning and execution of a landmark event to ensure value for all.
A number of local fellows (led by Peter Ashby) will be at hand to meet and greet you, and introduce to newcomers and guests to others.
We will be providing “talk to me about” name badges to spark conversation. There will be no formal group discussion, as this event is designed to focus on meeting people, sharing ideas, and networking.
Tickets are free of charge but please register your attendance at the top of this page. For any queries, please contact Peter Ashby: [email protected]
Location : Room D321, City of Oxford College, Oxpens Road, OX1 1SA
