Amelia Collins-Patel MBE

Amelia was awarded an MBE in the 2020 Queen’s Birthday’s Honours list for her work with Children and Young People with a particular focus upon her coronavirus response. 

Amelia recently completed her BA Hons degree in Theology, Mission and Ministry with a focus on children, young people and families. She is currently working alongside other young people on Project Hope, a project set up to help combat youth loneliness. 

Amelia became involved in youth action at her primary school from the age of 8 years old and her love for helping others and ensuring all voices are heard no matter their age, quickly grew to her being involved in a variety of different projects. In 2018 she was nominated as an #iwill Ambassador.
