Hardeep Matharu

Hardeep Matharu is a journalist and editor of Byline Times, an independent investigative newspaper focused on ‘what the papers don’t say’. She has a decade’s worth of experience across local, national and independent media, and learnt her craft at a local newspaper, the Epsom Guardian, where she was awarded for her “forward-thinking attitude” and stories on issues that were a “perfect example of why local papers matter” by the National Council for the Training of Journalists. Hardeep completed a Law degree at Cambridge University before entering journalism and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
