Lesley Close is a Patron of Dignity in Dying and editor of Assisted Dying – Who Makes the Final Decision? The Case for Greater Choice at the End of Life (Peter Owen, 2014).

Her brother John Close died with help from Dignitas in May 2003, aged 55.
