Professor Kate Jones
Chair of Ecology and Biodiversity at University College London
Professor Kate Jones is Chair of Ecology and Diversity at UCL.
She is a biodiversity scientist with an interest in understanding how biodiversity is maintained and conserved globally. She holds a professorial chair in Ecology and Biodiversity jointly at University College London and The Zoological Society of London. She won the Philip Leverhulme Award in 2008 for Outstanding Contributions to Zoology and is the current Chair of The Bat Conservation Trust and holds a number of scientific advisory board positions for national and international conservation charities.
Professor Jones is also the Director of the MRes in Biodiversity, Evolution and Conservation which is run jointly with University College London and The Zoological Society of London and The Natural History Museum, London.
