Rowan Williams
Theologian, poet, and former Archbishop of Canterbury
Dr Rowan Williams was formerly the 104th Archbishop of Canterbury, and 35th Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge. He is an Honorary Professor of Contemporary Christian thought at the University of Cambridge, and holds honorary doctorates from over a dozen other universities. Dr Williams is a noted poet and translator of poetry, speaking and reading nine languages, and has published writings on a wide range of theological, historical, and political themes.
