Kimberley Staines

Kimberley is the Catalyst Fund Programme Manager (currently on family leave)

Kimberley leads the Catalyst Fund programme, working with Fellows to support initiatives working towards positive social change. She has also worked extensively with the RSA’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion Employee Group.

While working with the RSA Kimberley has developed the fast-tracked Catalyst Covid-19 Award which supported 20 Fellow-led projects responding to the effects of the global pandemic, and worked to establish and steer the RSA’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion Employee Group. Kimberley’s past employment includes research project management and grant management, most recently for Hubbub; a Durham University/Wellcome Trust project, where she co-edited The Restless Compendium: Interdisciplinary Investigations of Rest & Its Opposites and produced the group’s evening takeover of Wellcome Collection. Her background includes working in law and publishing, and she is Trustee/Treasurer of a food bank charity in North London. Kimberley holds an MA in Psychosocial Studies from Birkbeck, University of London, focusing on culture, power and identity and the interplay between them.
