What is the RSA and what do we do?
The RSA (royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce) is a social change organisation with a unique global network of changemakers enabling people, places and the planet to flourish. We envisage a world that is resilient, rebalanced and regenerative, where everyone can fulfil their potential.
Our President is Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal. Our CEO is the economist and government advisor Andy Haldane.
RSA House in London is the venue for a year-round programme of events and talks from world renowned thinkers and is home to thousands of artefacts and artworks of huge historical significance.
Our research informs the work of governments and policy-makers worldwide and our activities touch the lives of millions of people in the UK and worldwide. Design for Life is our renewed mission as we approach our 270th anniversary.
Since 1754 we have brought together a diverse mix of ideas and expertise to give people the confidence, skills, ideas and connections to make a positive contribution to the places we live and regenerate the planet we all share.
