We are looking for artists and creative people who can volunteer their time to be involved in an exciting Fellow-led event ‘Seeing the woods for the trees’. The event will be a celebration for all ages and will take place at Tortworth Arboretum in south Gloucestershire on Saturday 17 September.

The aim of this outside event is to provide lots of practical opportunities to develop your experience and awareness of how nature interconnects and evolves, as you make being outdoors near where you live, part of your everyday life.

You’ll be able to develop your Nature Mindset, with our volunteer nature guides who provide experiences that give participants the awareness skills they need to see the natural environment in a new way. The answers are all around you and on your own doorstep. Seeing the woods for the trees will show you how. Join in and take a new look at how & why being in nature can help you to access your personal and collective well-being.

You’ll be able to join small groups on a variety of uplifting and unique guided action walk and talk activities. We hope you’ll be inspired by a wide range of experiences that make, being in the woods a real treasure trove for human development and community enlightenment.

In developing your Nature Mindset you will learn, first hand, from some local leading lights; from natural historians, ecologists, educationalists, volunteer community groups, tree climbers and more.
