“The programme has enabled me to build on my previous experience and apply the learning as we have gone along”

After a successful pilot programme in the South West, we have recently kicked off our Community Business Leaders Programmein the North of England.

Run in partnership with Sheffield University Management School and RIO (Real Ideas Organisation), this programme, funded by Power to Change, is supporting community run businesses across England.

Over the next six months, leaders from 22 businesses from Manchester to Redcar, community farm to community housing, will be working together to hone their business and leadership skills.

“This came at exactly the right time for both our organisation and for me personally. I’ve done a lot of training but it’s rare to find something so good. It’s been exceptional and the other participants have been excellent. The programme has enabled me to build on my previous experience and apply the learning as we have gone along. I’m feeling more confident and better equipped to help my community business.”
