Discover learning opportunities with cities of learning

Blog

Our web app captures all the learning that’s hidden in a city and makes it visible, measurable and connected. You can easily discover the opportunities that the city offers, create and view your portfolio of digital badges and follow personalised learning pathways based on your interests.  Watch our video below for a quick overview of how it works and how to get started today.

You can sign up using any valid email address or simply connect your google account, if you have one. If you already have digital badges, you should use the same email address to sign up so that your badges can be linked!

Verify

You will receive an email to check that your contact details are valid. Click on the link in that email to verify your email address and complete your account set up.

Once your email is verified you will need to login with the password you created.

That’s it!

You can begin to find opportunities and curated pathways in your area that match your interests. If you have already earned any City of Learning digital badges, they will automatically be added to your profile, showing what skills you have learned so far and potential connections you can make from there.

Cities of Learning is a web app, which means you can access it from a phone, computer or tablet! The app is now live in our two pilot cities. This means that the badged learning opportunities in Brighton & Hove and Plymouth that have been hard to find can now be browsed easily from the palm of your hand!

Earn a Beta Tester Badge

Right now the web-app is in beta mode, with our team continuing to update the opportunities available and the functionality. That means you are an early adopter of our platform and we would love to have your feedback on what you think works well and what could work better. Fill in this survey about your experience and we will issue you a Beta Tester badge to recognise your contribution!
