A distinguished panel share key insights and new ideas emerging from the Global Education Leaders’ Program, a community of education system leaders from twelve cities and countries collaborating to transform education in their contexts.
As we hurtle through the second decade of the 21st century, the pressure for radical change in mainstream education is becoming ever more urgent. Redesigning Education captures the journeys of cities and countries around the world as they travel from the education systems they have to the education systems they need.
The book discusses the tools and processes that are being employed along the way and the challenges and successes of whole-system transformation. Redesigning Education has been written by a team from Innovation Unit on behalf of the Global Education Leaders' Program, a community of education system leaders from twelve cities and countries collaborating to transform education in their contexts.
At the RSA, the authors will highlight key insights and new ideas from the programme, and explore what it will take to transform education so that every learner is equipped to make the most of the opportunities and deal with challenges of the 21st century.
Speakers: Kevan Collins, chief executive of the Education Endowment Foundation; Michael Stevenson, co founder GELP for Cisco Systems Inc.; Anthony Mackay, co-chair GELP; David Albury, design and development director, GELP; and Valerie Hannon, director, consultancy support, GELP.
