What does a design led-future for UK industry look like?

Innovator and entrepreneur Laurence Kemball-Cook is founder and CEO of Pavegen, the clean-technology company poised to help enable the data-driven smart cities of tomorrow.

The off-grid energy and data business has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2009 and Laurence has built a wealth of experience in design technology, innovation, scaling, and reaching new markets.

Laurence will discuss what design for industry means in the 21st century in the context of business growth and the intersection of design thinking and digital innovation.

This event is part of a new RSA research programme about the role of design in industry supported by Innovate UK.

The event will be followed by a drinks reception and opportunity for networking.
