RSA Warwickshire: Creating a Low-Carbon Community

Climate and ecological crises are constantly on the news. Action is needed now. Can you get involved?

Do you have good examples of low carbon initiatives in your community? Aspirations to address climate change in your village and looking for ideas? Some Henley residents, in association with the RSA, aim to bring together local communities in the region to share ideas and solutions for local actions to limit climate change.

This is the latest in a series of free events to explore and encourage low-carbon living. We feel it’s the responsibility of all of us to act now and not just leave it all to others.

We will hear from a range of speakers on 'money and the climate', school gardening and the circular economy. We'll then break out into discussion groups.

There'll be time to look at how we could grow a low-carbon hub to support local communities and hold more of these events.

The event is free to attend and open to Fellows, friends, colleagues and anyone interested in low carbon solutions for communities. We welcome representatives of parish councils, community energy groups, community building management committees and individuals keen to make the change to low carbon in their community.

Please book your place using the 'Book now' button above.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: [email protected]. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Station (5 mins walk) is Henley-in-Arden. Direct trains from Birmingham and Stratford. Buses from Stratford and Shirley, Solihull & Coventry (Johnsons X20).
