Adopting Human-Centered Design

Join January's skillshare to learn about human-centered design, its benefits, and the issues you might encounter in advocating for it at your organization with FRSA Zoë Camper.

This skillshare will be relevant to you if you are driven by your organization’s mission, you work on incredible social or environmental causes, or the drive to get information and services to your target audiences is strong. Human-centered design helps people to stand back, listen, and fully understand what is happening around them before designing tools and services for a target population.

Zoë Camper led the team that created the UK’s first AI-driven health virtual assistant which was delivered using human-centered design. She will take us on a journey through a project that would deliver a vital service to people living in constant pain that at the beginning no one understood or could explain, but knew was desperately needed.

Zoe will take us through:

  • A practical, illustrated journey through human-centered design
  • The benefits and issues of advocating for human-centered design
  • Fundraising for difficult to describe projects

You will leave with:

  • Insight into a real implementation of human-centered design
  • The ability to describe the benefits and problems of using human-centered design
  • Know why it is important for organizations to use human-centered design
