Join us for the next RSA Salisbury Meetup this February.

The Frome Independent - a model for a 21st century market town

The Frome Independent is an award-winning, monthly destination street market, showcasing the best independent craftspeople, designers, makers, food producers and vintage traders in the South West. The founding of the market was part of a much bigger initiative around developing the model for a 21st century market town. Hence issues like reinvigorating the high street, supporting start-ups, generating economic activity, and showcasing artisan makers, creators and live music, all formed part of the vision for the market. Come along to hear how the market has enriched cultural, philanthropic and economic activities in Frome and discuss its relevance to Salisbury. Our programme for the evening will be:

6.30pm - 7.00pm Teas/coffees and networking

7.00pm - 7.15pm Welcome and introductions

7.15pm - 8.00pm Speaker: Tabitha Clayson, Market Manager, Frome Independent

8.00pm - 8.15pm Break

8.15pm - 9.00pm Questions and discussion

The meeting is open to non-Fellows and Fellows. We welcome all who support the work of the RSA and who are interested in finding out more about the Frome Independent and wider initiatives in Frome. Teas/coffees will be available at the venue on your arrival. There is a car park at the rear of the building that holds approximately 15 cars. Access is via Fountain Way. For further information contact Neil Beagrie (Salisbury Fellows Network) [email protected].

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: [email protected]. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.
