How would a circular economy function at a local level in Islington?

You are invited to join the RSA Islington Network ZOOM Meetup on 29 June from 6:15PM - 8:00PM. Upon registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link needed to join the event.

The overarching theme arising from our last three 2019 sessions was that of bringing about fundamental changes to the way we live and act collectively in Islington. We feel more strongly than ever that this is where we should dedicate our energy, and the theme of creating a circular economy is an excellent place to begin.

Sophie Thomas, former director of Circular Economy at RSA (2012-16) and founding director of the design agency Thomas Matthews, will reflect on what has happened since the publication of The Great Recovery, how the circular economy might work at a local level in Islington and the extent to which Covid19 is changing our thinking.

Everyone is welcome, Fellows and non-Fellows. We’d also welcome any newcomers who haven’t previously attended a local event.

The event will take place via the online conferencing platform, Zoom. You will receive the link to this meeting upon registering for the event, and again as a reminder 30 minutes before.

If you have questions about this event, please email Rachel Godin (Interim RSA Coffeehouse and London Events Manager) at [email protected]
