Architectures for Resilience: Symposium 2019

On Friday 3 May, Jamie Cooke, Head of RSA Scotland will be talking at this symposium event on architecture for resilience, focused on the well-being of citizens.

Speakers from academia, architectural and urban practices, and the public sector will present emerging solutions for sustainable and resilient cities including physical architecture, social infrastructure and digital services, that support user-centred practice and inclusive growth.  

Speakers includeacademics from the University of Strathclyde (Prof. Ashraf Salama, Head of the Department of Architecture), Glasgow School of Art (Prof. Brian Evans, Glasgow City Urbanist) and University of Glasgow (Lucille Tetley-BrownLeverhulme Trust Scholar), the symposium programme includes a keynote from social architect Robert Mull, Head of School of Architecture and Design, University of Brighton, who leads a Global Practice Unit and collaborates on several projects related to the current refugee crises.
