Earlier this year, the Centre for Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience (CDCN) at UCL delivered an arts competition inviting students to share their artistic responses to the issue of systemic racism and division in our world, and use artistic expression to explore the effects of racism on the developing brain.
The programme was led by RSA Fellow and UCL Professor, Vargha-Khadem, and featured the participation of four international judges who selected the winners of the competition. It also included presentations by astronaut and artist Nicole Stott, Moons Symphony Composer, Amanda Lee Falkenberg, and award-winning animated film executive producer, Lady Levy.
Find out more about the competition judges and follow the link to the finalists' arts gallery below. You can also find a link to the full event on the CDCN website too.
