Everyone remembers fretting about their first day in a new job or internship. Am I wearing the right thing? What's the best route to take? Will I find it okay? It's a stressful enough without having to worry about whether you'll be able to return the next day, because you don't have enough money to get by.
Yet this is the situation for many talented World Health Organization interns from developing countries. Geneva is one of the world's most expensive cities, and living there for months on end without additional support is just unfeasible.
Equitable Global Health Internships is a Fellow-led crowdfunding camapign trying to change this. Take a look at their campaign teaser.
