Last year, RSA Fellow Ali Golding received a small Catalyst grant from the RSA to progress the development of The MovementWorks Project. The organisation has come a long way since then and much interest has grown in the impact the work is having as an early intervention, in particular for children with special educational needs.

Recently, MovementWorks Founder and Creative Director Ali Golding FRSA has been interviewed about the groundbreaking Developmental Dance Movementâ„¢ Programme on Early Arts UK, Positively Autistic Global Radio and BBC Radio London. She has been invited onto the think tank for Arts Council England's Early Years strategic planning and later this year, Ali will be speaking on the topic of inclusivity from a movement perspective at the TES London SEN Show.

MovementWorks has been given its own featured space, 'Movement Matters', at this year's Autism Shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester: Read more here.

Having already presented in the South West earlier in the Spring (at Plymouth University's 'Autism & Alternative Therapies Conference'), MovementWorks' outreach has extended across the UK.

You can read Ali's guest blog for the RSA here.

If you'd like to get  involved and/or support the MovementWorks Project, you can contact Ali through the MovementWorks website or via RSA London Manager Mark Hall, or come and speak to her at The Shows!
