The Arts + Tech Accelerator is a new digital innovation grant programme funded by Arts Council England and Innovate UK (their first ever collaboration). It’s based at MadLab – the UK’s largest makerspace and digital innovation hub, co-founded by Rachael Turner FRSA.

The programme is for all for artists, designers and makers at any stage in their career aiming to boost creative practice and explore new avenues of research. The overall aim of the Accelerator is for participants to achieve a significant step-up or switch in their creative practice. Support, facilities and mentoring will be provided from January to June 2016. The accelerator presents a rare opportunity to develop current projects, experiment with different techniques or shift your work into a new field.

MadLab's Arts and Tech Accelerator is now open for applications. Successful applicants receive a £10k grant, access to world-class mentors and studio space.

The application process is open until 15 November.
