Join the RSA US team at PopTech, in Washington, DC, from Thursday, October 27 to Saturday, October 29, 2022.
This year’s PopTech conference brings together leading speakers (including RSA’s Chief Executive Andy Haldane) to discuss issues of social justice, education, 21st century policing, inequity, culture and climate action. The theme of this year’s PopTech is DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL, exploring and inviting group reflection around what we have left behind as a society and where we are going. RSA Fellows are encouraged to attend and the conference is being run by RSA Fellow and PopTech Institute CEO Leetha Filderman.
As part of the programming, the RSA US team will be leading a workshop alongside Stacey Rutland of Income Movement entitled, “Economic Re-Imagining: Basic Income & Our Lived Experience.” The workshop will aim to facilitate dialogue around beliefs and experiences of economic security, social capital and economic liberation with an eye towards understanding how the 100 active city, county and nonprofit basic income demonstrations underway across the U.S. have the power to be systemic and transformative.
