On 23rd June, Professor Donaldson spoke about his report, Successful Futures, highlighting how creative collaborations are in the spirit of the ambition of his report - and how they will especially strengthen the Pupil offer.

Professor Donaldson's Report: Successful Futures.

Professor Donaldson spoke to an audience of approximately 100 people. These included over sixty headteachers, Fellows of the RSA, academics from four South Wales universities, and a number of education-based business representatives.

Professor Donaldson's keynote speech was very well received and was followed by an afternoon of table presentations by school leaders. With thanks to RSA Fellows: Mike Reddy, Sarah Tanburn, John O’Shea, Karen Phillips and Tamsin Stirling, who acted as scribes to capture the details of the school presentations and feed into the visual minutes which were created:

Local heads drew together the learning from the event: Janet Haywood (Cadoxton Barry), Steve Rees (Evenlode Penarth), Ty Golding (Llantwit Learning Community) and Gareth Rein (St Josephs Penarth).

Thanks to all who contributed to a successful learning event.
