Would you like to help lead Street Wisdom events with the RSA?
We are seeking Street Leaders for upcoming events in June.
The RSA Street Wisdom Network encourages and supports Fellows to set up events all over the UK. They recently held Street Wisdom events in Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, and Cheltenham, and there are more coming up in Bath, Manchester, and London.
They have some simple training tools that make it very easy to learn how to become a Street Leader. The workshops are always led by an experienced Street Leader, working with up to 10 facilitators leading their own groups of between 4 and 10 people.
In particular we are look for Street Leaders for the following two events:
- Wednesday 14 June, 2 – 5pm, London
- Thursday 15 June, 1.30 – 5pm, Manchester
14 June, London: Hosted by the Fellow-led RSA Mindfulness Network, this event will begin at RSA House and will be led by Helen Gormley FRSA and the Mindfulness Network Team, part of Creativity and Wellbeing week in London.
15 June, Manchester: Led by Julie Dryborough, this event will begin at John Rylands Library.
If you can support either of these events, then email [email protected] who will put you in touch with the organisers. If you are keen to volunteer your time but can’t make these dates, then email Mark with your name and location, and he will let you know when the next event is coming your way.
Street Wisdom events are very popular with RSA Fellows and the afternoons are great fun and very fulfilling for facilitators.
If you would like to find out more or get involved in other ways with Street Wisdom visit at www.streetwisdom.org.
