We’re looking for speakers for a new series of RSA Virtual Coffeehouse Conversations.
Do you have an idea for creating lasting social change? What questions would you ask the RSA Fellowship to develop your thinking and help you move forwards?
The RSA’s Virtual Coffeehouse Conversation events are returning with the mission to help you gain insights and input from our Fellowship community. Each event will give one person the opportunity to present their social change challenge and pose questions to participants in a focused, supportive and collaborative environment.
We want to provide a platform for a diverse range of individuals – involved in community projects to social enterprises to public service organisations – trying to do things differently when it comes to, for example, the environment, health and social care, education and lifelong learning, heritage, place and identity and work.
Virtual Coffeehouse Conversations will restart in February 2021, taking place online on Fridays at around 12 noon GMT for 30-45 minutes. The design, running and facilitation of each event will be supported by an RSA staff member.
If you are interested in speaking at a Virtual Coffeehouse Conversation, please contact Helena Blair, the RSA’s Interim London Area and Coffeehouse Manager, at [email protected], providing the following information:
- Your name
- Are you a Fellow of the RSA?
- Where are you based?
- A brief summary of the social challenge you are exploring and the impact you want to have (no more than 150 words)
- Up to two questions that you would ask RSA Fellows to help you progress your ideas
Please await a response – we’ll be in touch from January 2021 to discuss this opportunity further or to suggest alternative ways to gain input from the RSA Fellowship. We may be unable to offer this opportunity to everyone and will prioritise choosing a range of ideas that tackle pressing social challenges with a clear ask for others to offer support.
Please send any questions to Helena at [email protected]
