‘Trust arrives on foot and departs on horseback’

Harnessing Evidence, Building Trust, Improving Outcomes for All.

Building and securing trust sits at the heart of everything we want to achieve as teachers and school leaders. We will examine the latest findings from the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), an organisation, which is working with 1:6 schools and over 700,000 children in England. Considering international and English findings we will consider how evidence can inform practice and help to improve pupil outcomes and establish new levels of professional trust and knowledge.

This event is scheduled as part of RSA / Pears Foundation activity exploring an evidence-based approach to Holocaust Education. The work marks the launch of the Centre for Holocaust Education’s research into secondary school students’ knowledge and understandings of the Holocaust.

Ruth-Anne Lenga, Head of Academic Programmes, Centre for Holocaust Education, UCL Institute of Education will give a brief introduction to the research at the event
