Join RSA Fellows globally as we explore how we can shape a more resilient, socially just and sustainable world in the wake of the COVID pandemic. This is the third event in a six-part online event series, co-hosted by RSA Oceania and the RSA Sustainability Network, which aims to build awareness and collaboration, leading to RSA projects.
Human health has proved to be a motivator of extraordinary sacrifice and investment, arguably more than has ever been committed to environmental goals. But might such commitments have prevented or reduced the pandemic’s impact? Air pollution has been reported as a causal factor in people’s vulnerability to COVID-19, and there are numerous examples of environmental degradation affecting health. On the other hand, modern healthcare involves increasing use of single-use items and packaging, which carry over into the environment. How can we build a stronger synergistic relationship between health and the environment?
Please note, this is an online event open to the global Fellowship. Please check the timing in your region:
