Claire Byrne
Claire Byrne is Senior Community Manager for RSA US
As Senior Community Manager, Claire’s role is to support the recruitment and development of Fellows across the U.S. She coordinates support offerings and looks for ways that Fellows can connect, share learning and collaborate in a meaningful way. Claire loves to mobilize people for social good, organize data and bring human-centered design principles into her work.
Claire’s non-profit background spans working in overseas aid with Plan International Ireland, youth development with Gaisce—The President’s Award, and volunteer management and event production with organizations including the Dublin Theatre Festival and The Moth Story Slam. Before joining the RSA US team, Claire worked for Thacker Mountain Radio Hour, a weekly live radio show in Oxford, Mississippi that features author readings and a wide array of musical performances. As the Assistant Director, Claire managed all of the day-to-day operations for the organization, along with weekly event production and communications.
Claire is an Irish transplant to the US and has made Oxford, Mississippi her home the past few years. In her free time, she can generally be found stretching on a yoga mat, cooking up a tray of enchiladas or trying to explain Irish slang to North Mississippians.
