This documentary gives an insight into the lives of the people living in slums near the River Ravi who are surviving in miserable conditions.
A profile of poor communities living on the margins of Lahore, both culturally and geographically. The people living in slums near The River Ravi survive in miserable conditions; their children are deprived of education, good food and pure drinking water. This documentary looks at the cultural survival mechanisms of this poor and ostracised community, and explores how this community sees the region around them changing, with little connection to modern development and society for them
