Plymouth became a pilot city in 2017 and has been instrumental in the co-design of the Cities of Learning programme together with the RSA.
Plymouth’s vision is of a wider city culture of wellbeing and achievement; to help everyone recognise the inherent skills within themselves and in others. Plymouth’s focus is young people aged 14-25 and the following themes:
Real Ideas is leading the work in Plymouth. Real Ideas are a learning provider focusing on employability skills and working with some of the hardest to reach young people in Cornwall.
Real Ideas’ work in Plymouth aims to mobilise a city-wide community of active, engaged citizens, working with a multitude of learning providers and employers in the city.
This is a really exciting project for Plymouth to be a part of. We’re going to be making the whole city a digital learning campus which will ultimately encourage more people to take part in learning.
Get in touch with Real Ideas to discuss how you can support them in Plymouth.
