  • Creativity

An insight into where creativity comes from, from an extraordinary and brilliant mind.

The RSA believes that everyone has the ‘The Power to Create’; we all have creative capacities that, when understood and supported, can be mobilised to bring about a flourishing society, and more fulfilled lives.

We are delighted to announce a new series of talks that enrich our understanding of creativity, featuring creative pioneers from a range of fields and disciplines.

To open the series, we welcome mathematician Cédric Villani, winner of the Fields Medal, the highest international honour in mathematics.

In telling the story of his mathematical grand adventures, Villani offers a unique insight into where creativity comes from – and the roles of passion, focus, and partnership in producing breakthrough moments in the progress of human knowledge.

Speaker: Cédric Villani, mathematician and Fields medallist

Chair: Alex Bellos, writer and broadcaster

Venue: RSA Great Room Auditorium
