A group of six community energy groups in Sussex and Hampshire are in discussion with Network Rail about feeding power from community solar parks into the railway.

Alister Scott FRSA, chair of Cuckmere Community Solar in East Sussex, which has planning consent for a 4MW solar park, will be speaking about the project on Friday 18th January at 13.00 in the new amphitheatre space.

Members of the wider project will also be there so please join for an interactive session about the challenges and opportunities involved.  They are trying to be the catalyst to open the door for other projects to follow.

Alister and Ollie Pendered, CEO of Community Energy South, will also draw from "Our Power: 6 Reasons why Community Energy is the Sleeping Giant in the Climate Crisis", their forthcoming book.
