Fellowship Digital Services: Beta Phase Sprint Notes 12

In this Sprint, we advanced in three main areas: content design, technical architecture, research and testing.

A reminder of the project's focus: this beta project is focused on enhancing existing and implementing a new technology at the RSA called Circle, to help improve how Fellows engage and contribute to the RSA work and collaborate with other Fellows.

Sprints 12 goals & highlights

The main goal for Sprint 12 was to focus on research, testing and engagement activities.

Sprint 12 was a less busy sprint, given the team annual leave period, focused mostly on progressing the research and testing activities.

Highlights from Sprint 12 include:

Content Design

• drafting the guidance for RSA Network Leads to use Circle
• drafting onboarding guidelines for Fellows joining Circle
• helping to restructure the spaces in Circle to be more user friendly

Technical Architecture

• helping to progress decision making about the Single Sign On (SSO)
• creating tech diagrams to help explain our SSO needs to potential suppliers
• working with Netcel to clarify MyRSA work

Research & Testing

• preparing for the trial with the initial networks by getting the survey ready and managing invitations to the upcoming sessions
• preparing for testing the MyRSA 

Next steps

• Our key high level priorities for the upcoming Sprint 13 are to:
• Focus on research, testing and engagement activities
• Plan work for the upcoming sprints and plan the shift to service roll out

We're planning to:

• prepare the prototype for testing sessions for MyRSA 
• deliver testing sessions for MyRSA 
• analyse and present findings from the testing sessions and consider potential design iterations based on the received feedback
• prepare for the follow up survey
• deliver interviews for the Fellow Spaces trial
• continue with SSO work, supporting the combination of suppliers that is picked
• review the identifed Technical Architecture needs and consider what needs to and should be taken forward based on agreed priorities
• reviewing and providing input into the technical and accessibility testing plans for Netcel
