Clem Henricson, Fellowship Councillor for the South East, introduces herself and shares how she - and the rest of the Council - can support Fellows.

In my role as Fellowship Councillor, I am bringing a bit of past RSA experience to bear. I was Chair of the South East for the Fellowship Council between 2014 and 2016 and a member of the advisory group supporting the RSA programme, Changing the narrative.

As Fellowship Councillor for the newly formed South East area, I am coordinating Fellow-led activities in the area with the other Councillors for the South East, Caroline Clark and Maurizio Fantato, and working closely with the rest of the national team.

I am based near Sevenoaks in Kent and will have a primary focus on developing networks across Kent and Sussex. I will be supporting new programmes in the area, and am particularly interested in encouraging debate and the spread and disputation of ideas. This will entail the development of Fellow-led discussion groups, seminars, and conferences, partnership with other organisations, and engagement across local communities.

I greatly appreciate the diverse skills and ideas that are the essence of the RSA Fellowship and will endeavour to foster the energy, originality, practicality, and altruism demonstrated by so many Fellows.

If you would like to discuss any ideas, or explore new networking opportunities, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or clemhenricson.com.
