Exeter Literary Festival is looking for a Trustee to act as Finance Director.
Exeter Literary Festival is in its third year of operation and currently applying for Charitable Incorporated Organisation status. The Trustees wish to identify an additional member of the team, to act as Finance Director, with overall responsibility for all financial aspects including book-keeping, fund-raising and ticket sales. This would be a formal Trustee position, and therefore unpaid, but the level of engagement is negotiable. Non-trustee volunteers are available to carry out the hands-on tasks; the new Trustee is required primarily for their strategic approach.
Experience in the literary world is preferable but by no means essential. As Exeter assumes its role as a City of Literature, ExeLitFest is looking forward to an exciting year in partnership with other major Arts organisations in the region.
