RSA Academies has a collaborative approach to school improvement and aim for our students to become successful learners and confident and creative individuals. There are five schools in the Family of RSA Academies. These schools participate in innovative research, projects and collaborations that improve teaching and learning.
The RSA offers huge opportunity for schools by linking them with each other alongside its latest thinking and independent research, the RSA Fellowship and the RSA as an ideas platform.
RSA Academies makes this opportunity a reality. It does this through practical projects, consultancies, partnerships and events which are designed to meet a jointly agreed programme of support which reflects the schools' priorities. With a focus in the West Midlands area of the UK, the Family of Academies is growing and working with schools who serve a local community of relatively high deprivation.
Projects include the RSA Pupil Design Award scheme, School to School Improvement programme, Literacy review, partnership with Warwick University and the Student Leadership Programme.
This has resulted in the raising of standards and attainment in schools, more opportunities for pupils and teachers to collaborate, compete and learn outside their own schools, improved leadership opportunities and an enriched education experience.
