Leicester City Council is working with the RSA and grassroots democracy experts, Talkshop, on a Climate Assembly on 18th January.
The assembly will provide local citizens with an opportunity to explore the council’s proposals for the city to become carbon neutral, following the declaration of a Climate Emergency in February 2019.
You can apply to take part in the climate assembly up until 31st December (please do share the application link with anyone else you think might be interested). Please note that there are limited spaces (50-70) and not everyone who applies will be guaranteed a place. Efforts will be made to ensure that participants are as representative as possible of Leicester’s population.
