Do you want to help shape the direction of the RSA? We are very pleased to announce that the RSA Trustee board is now open for the nomination of two new members.

The RSA Board is the governing body of the charity and oversees all its activities.  The Trustees have ultimate responsibility for organisational strategy, resourcing, risk management and the supervision of all the RSA’s business affairs.

We are looking for Trustees with either of the following skills:

● Successful track record in business and/or manufacturing with experience at a Senior Leadership Level in a global business environment.

● Successful track record in the arts and culture sector with experience at a Senior Leadership Level with organisations that have a national profile.

Additionally we are looking for the following secondary person specifications:

● Experience of performance management, HR/employment law issues and implementing them contextually

● Legal knowledge including particularly charity law and non-profit management issues more generally

The deadline for nominations is midnight on 11 June 2017. Nominations forms should be returned electronically by email to [email protected].

The election itself will take place in September with the results announced at our AGM on 10 October.

As part of the application you need to consider whether you put yourself forward for interview to be considered as a preferred candidate. Interviews and the decision on who is preferred is undertaken by a Panel consisting of our Chairman (Vikki Heywood), Fellowship Council Chair (Rod Hyde) and Chief Executive (Matthew Taylor).
