RSA ARC (RSA Action and Research Centre) is supporting a new start-up called Eulergy which will link students with organisations that could benefit from their research support. Eulergy is putting the finishing touches to their matchmaking website and are now calling for fashion, graphic and product design companies to submit a research brief which their talented network of students could work on.

Eulergy is a marketplace for student work that is designed to bring benefits to students, universities and industry alike. To industry, Eulergy offers an opportunity to unlock and tap into the research undertaken by students in the course of their studies. To students, Eulergy provides an interesting array of real-life briefs to work on. And to universities, Eulergy offers a platform enabling them to showcase some of their best talent.

In practice, Eulergy works by hosting a gallery of ideas, research proposals and completed projects on a website. Industry participants can engage at any stage of the process, whether it’s submitting a research idea that is beyond the capacity levels or skill set within your organisation or posting a concept that you’d like to see considered.

Eulergy curates the platform, coordinates communication between students, universities and industry members, verifies the assessment process within the university and manages all aspects of the transaction, including confidentiality, intellectual property and payment handling.

Before the team at Eulergy formally launch the website, they are looking for industry members who are willing to offer them a design brief to get the ball rolling. They’ll find students to deliver it and will work with universities to make it happen. They have already signed up a major fashion retailer to find silk designs from fashion students globally.

For anyone who is interested in participating, please get in touch by emailing Benedict Dellot.
