  • Love the idea, and the art behind it. You guys are great, keep doing what your doing, and hopefully more people will see these videos you guys make and try to live by them. Even try to contribute in some way in our own lives to make this world actually possible.

  • Whilst I think it's pretty clear that Jeremy Rifkin himself does not put the two together as partners, the animators (for what looks to be a light, comedic effect) have chosen to represent the two standing together as partners and parents for illustrative purposes. I don't think this is going to bolster the creationists' cause - it is simply a humorous, pared down depiction of a complex point.

    As to the 'dangerous' espousal of creationism, I think it's reasonably clear Rifkin's intention is to provide a passing example of shared ancestors in an attempt to foster some kind of global commonality and empathy - not to support the creationists' claims!
